SAS Airline Review

SAS Airline Review

I recently flew SAS Airline from Copenhagen, Denmark to Newark, New Jersey. A roughly 8-hour flight. What I like about SAS is that it is a direct flight to and from Denmark, and I love direct flights.

Another perk is that business class fliers have a fast track through security. I breezed right through and went to the lounge. Note: enjoy the lounge but remember that you need to go through passport control before you get to the gate- and there was a line.

I caffeinated myself in the lounge, walked around and made my way to the gate. Onboard I was pleasantly surprised to find my seat 2H near the window was a little world of my own for the next 8 hours or so. The configuration is 1-2-1 so you can sit near a friend or family member. The seats convert to a bed and have massage capabilities. My swag had a toothbrush, lotion, lip balm, earplugs and a mask. Even without the seat going down, there was plenty of leg room. I was greeted with champagne and a menu, and we were soon off.

Despite the annoying crying child in the aisle next to me, this was pleasant flight. The food was pretty good, and the staff was excellent. The only ding is that the entertainment options were somewhat limited, and the WI FI did not work. I would fly this way again.
